ESMT Berlin and the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) have launched the Industry Immersion Program (IIP) to prepare African graduates to transition from an academic environment to an applied industry setting.
The Digital Society Institute (DSI) at ESMT Berlin welcomes Michael Hange, former president of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), as new external affiliate. Prof. Linus Dahlander will hold the Lufthansa Group Chair for Innovation at ESMT Berlin. With this chair, the Lufthansa Group intends to support research and teaching in the field of innovation at ESMT. The ceremony will take place on May 16 at ESMT Berlin.
Across industries, women are underrepresented in IT roles, particularly in leadership positions. To help in addressing the deficit, ESMT Berlin is offering two partial scholarships for the business school’s IT Leadership Program (ITL), each valued at EUR 4,450.
The startup JetEight, which was founded by the two ESMT Berlin Master’s in Management students Ruben Portz and Lisa Makarova, has been selected for the prestigious acceleration program of Startupbootcamp Smart Transportation & Energy, a leading global startup accelerator located in Berlin and focusing on connected and efficient mobility.
