Our student club and initiatives were formed by students with a desire to create something new and creative that would enrich the experiences at ESMT for future cohorts. TEDxESMTBerlin is an independently organized TED event, powered by a passionate team of ESMT students. Our mission is to bring together visionary thinkers, innovators, and changemakers to share ideas that inspire action and spark meaningful conversations.
What we do
At TEDxESMTBerlin, we facilitate impactful experiences through:
- Curating inspiring talks: We host thought-provoking speakers who share groundbreaking ideas and research, aiming to spark meaningful discussions within our community.
- Organizing engaging events: Our team meticulously plans TEDx conferences that inspire, educate, and encourage attendees to think differently and embrace new ideas.

Other ESMT initiatives
Connected Choir – by ESMT Berlin
We build community by singing together after classes/work in a warm and welcoming environment.
Take your chance to experience the choir firsthand! Usually, we are offering Open Rehearsals at the beginning of each new choir semester (usually semester start is in January/February and September).
The next Open Rehearsals are set for: February 18 and 25, 2026. No previous experience is required! Just drop by and try it out.

Who we are
The ESMT Choir is a vibrant, welcoming group open to students, staff, faculty, and even friends & family! No experience needed—just enthusiasm for music and connection.
What we do
- Weekly rehearsals, starting with a voice and body warm-up, followed by singing different songs
- Led by a wonderful and professional choir director
- We perform at ESMT Berlin events

- Regular performances at ESMT’s summer parties and year end events
- Welcome performances for MBA and MIM classes
- Performance during ESMT's Annual Alumni Meeting
- Concertino for Friends in April, and December 2025
