Impact Story: TRATON Management Excellence Program

The TRATON GROUP brings together the world’s leading truck brands Scania, MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, Navistar, and RIO. These brands are united in the mission to become the global champion of the transportation services industry.

In collaboration with the ESMT, the new Management Excellence program was developed in order to enable high potentials of the first-line management to drive business success through intrapreneurship, a disruptive mindset, and critical data consumption.

This successful partnership has received international recognition by winning an Excellence in Practice Gold Award 2021 granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

Impact Story: Allianz

According to its own corporate website, The Allianz Group is one of the world's leading insurers and asset managers, with more than 100 million private and corporate customers in more than 70 countries. ESMT Berlin were tasked with establishing a learning and development program for top HR talents to enable them to have transformational impact and get ready for executive-level leadership responsibilities.

This successful partnership competed for the Excellence in Practice Gold Award 2021 granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

Impact Story: Market Entry into the Eurozone

ESMT Berlin Executive Education partnered with Enterprise Ireland to establish the Enter the Eurozone Program, a four-month learning journey aiming at accelerating the number of Irish small and medium-sized firms entering new markets in the Eurozone. This successful partnership has received international recognition by winning an Excellence in Practice Silver Award 2020 granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

Impact Story: Brose Executive Leadership Program

Following a competitive procurement process, ESMT Berlin was selected as partner for Brose Executive Leadership Program – the choice was made on the basis of the team’s evident strong commitment, the extensive experience we could offer in working with family businesses, and ESMT’s international exposure and reputation. Our team worked closely with Brose HR development and the management board to conceptualize and then run an intensive learning journey for senior executives, which seamlessly integrated on-site teaching modules with personal development conversations, and executive coaching interventions.

Impact Story: Chargeurs Game Changer Management Seminar

ESMT program for Chargeurs concentrated on a new mindset for the participants, i.e., changing from a product to a customer focus, from big upfront investment to simple but effective experiments, from lengthy planning to fast, iterative development.

The program we have created is a lab where the participants understand the principles of innovation and learn to be innovative. They design and run business experiments, gather feedback about these experiments from their customers, and test their ideas with the help of our program faculty, innovation coaches, and peers. In the end, the program will foster those smart ideas that will help Chargeurs to become a game changer in its industry.

Impact Story: Siemens Energy

ESMT Berlin successfully collaborated with Siemens Energy’s #TeamPurple to create a customized executive education program Leading People and Business. The goal of the program is to prepare managers at Siemens Energy for the global energy transformation. A four-week learning journey combines live online sessions, individual course work and reflections, group projects, workshops, and simulations. Three cycles have been completed since 2020, and a new cycle starts on May 31, 2021.
