Our rankings and accreditations reflect our commitment to excellence and provide a benchmark for our continuous development. They validate the quality of our programs, the expertise of our faculty, and the success of our graduates, thus enhancing our global reputation.

ESMT Berlin and its programs are accredited nationally and internationally. We have the prestigious Triple Crown of accreditations from AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS – a title shared by less than one percent of the world’s business schools. In 2024, the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) reaccredited ESMT for another 10 years with no conditions. The council’s decision is based on our exceptional academic performance and globally recognized excellence in research and teaching, confirming our right to award PhDs and eliminating the need for future reaccreditation.

* We made a strategic decision to extend our full-time MBA program, thus making it even better for our students, by including internships, exchange programs, and other opportunities. A result of this extension is that ESMT does not appear in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2023. Although ESMT has demonstrated its ability to run a sustainable, sizeable program each and every year, the technicality of having no graduates in the calendar year 2020 means exclusion from the ranking this and next year. We will be back in the FT Global MBA Ranking stronger than ever in 2025!
