ESMT Berlin: New Global Online MBA starts with 47 students
The participants in the first cohort are, on average, 34 years old and have more than nine years of professional experience, typically in the technology, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. The class is composed of 23 percent women and 77 percent men.
“The online learning sector started growing before the pandemic and we believe demand is here to stay," says Rebecca Loades, director of ESMT Berlin’s Career Accelerator Programs. “We have been investing in educational technologies since 2017 to serve a growing number of requests from businesses seeking online and blended executive education. Launching a fully online MBA program was therefore a natural next step. It’s a pleasure to welcome 47 students to the inaugural class of the Global Online MBA.”
The Global Online MBA is the first completely online program at the international business school. Decision-making, analytics, and innovation are at the core of the program. The innovative course design is modular and allows students to study at times that fit their schedules and at their own pace. Students may complete the program in 24 months or take up to five years.
