New Executive MBA class at ESMT Berlin sees high female enrollment

A new intake of Executive MBA (EMBA) students started their 18-month program at ESMT Berlin this week.

Twenty-one of the 54 participants are female, representing 39 percent of the class. On average, the students are 37 years old and have more than 11 years of work experience. Two-thirds of the class are from abroad with candidates coming from 26 countries.

The group of EMBA participants, comprising exclusively mid- to senior-level managers, meets in Berlin every two months for intensive six-day modules. The ESMT EMBA program is ranked 39th globally by the Financial Times and number one in Germany in its career progress category.
