ESMT Berlin awarded Gold and Silver at “Oscars of Education” as part of the FOME Alliance
The event, held from December 8 to 10 in London, gathered over 1,500 educational innovators from 84 countries.
Reimagine Education is a global conference and competition. It brings together educational technology (EdTech) startups, academic faculty, university leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders in the future of teaching and learning. The Reimagine Education Awards – known as the “Oscars of Education” – reward innovative approaches that enhance student learning outcomes and employability.
“We are proud to be a founding member of the FOME Alliance,” says Nick Barniville, associate dean of degree programs and director of the EdTech lab at ESMT. “Through this collaboration, ESMT has been able to move rapidly from late adopter to pioneer in the blended learning space. By using a common technology platform and an open innovation approach, we are now able to bring new program formats to the market with our partners and at speed.”
FOME is a global alliance of eight business schools spanning four continents. At its center is a custom-built education platform, designed and provided by technology enterprise Insendi, a company founded by EdTech experts at Imperial College Business School. The platform can be tailored to meet the requirements of each member school, enabling them to redefine, customize, and digitize their portfolio of programs.
The FOME partners include ESMT Berlin, SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Imperial College Business School, BI Norwegian Business School, EDHEC Business School, IE Business School, the University of Melbourne, and Ivey Business School.
