The Institute for Deep Tech Innovation (DEEP) at ESMT Berlin, in collaboration with KfW Capital, is developing a new executive education program for leaders in the venture capital sector. This program is part of the Growth and Innovation Capital for Germany (WIN) initiative, launched by the German federal government to strengthen the country's venture capital ecosystem and foster innovation in the technology sector.

The annual Demo Day, hosted by ESMT Berlin on September 19, once again brought together Europe’s brightest entrepreneurial minds from diverse industries. In their latest release, “Leveraging Digital Innovation: Lessons for Implementation,” Christoph Burger, senior lecturer and expert in energy and digital technologies, and Dr. Jens Weinmann, lecturer and researcher specializing in technological innovation and regulation, provide a practical guide for successfully implementing disruptive digital technologies in business.

As of September 1, Nespresso has become the latest member of the Sustainable Business Roundtable (SBRT) at ESMT Berlin, joining a global network of companies dedicated to embedding sustainability within their operations. Through this membership, Nespresso will participate in SBRT’s roundtable discussions, workshops, and research projects, collaborating on initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable business models and driving systemic change in the global economy.

ESMT Berlin has expanded its International Advisory Council (IAC) with Sapthagiri (Saptha) Chapalapalli, head of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Europe. This marks the first representation from a global company with Indian roots in the IAC, an advisory body instituted by the Board of Trustees of the ESMT Foundation to provide external perspective, assessment, and support to the school. ESMT President Jörg Rocholl has been appointed to the international corporate advisory board (ICAB) of Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland. This nomination further strengthens the longstanding partnership between the two business schools, which includes a student exchange program for master’s students.
