New DFG funding for research group

The German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) approved funding for a new research group involving 12 scientists from Germany and Austria, inlcuding Özlem Bedre-Defolie from ESMT Berlin. The project is called “Consumer Preferences, Consumer Mistakes, and Firm’s Response”.
A total of 2.25 million Euros for a period of 4 years was approved. Prof. Özlem Bedre-Defolie is a co-scientist in this research group and will lead a sub-project together with Prof. Dr. Markus Reisinger from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, titled “Consumer Behavior and Search on Platforms”. Özlem has been awarded a total of €215.600 from the DFG for her research.
