Master in Global Management

Your learning and development journey

The Master in Global Management program begins in September each year, and lasts for 24 months. The program is designed to give you a business education specializing in global management, with a curriculum that gives graduates the knowledge and skills needed to move into general management and strategy consulting.

The structure in two parts includes: 

  • Foundation courses covering the most important areas of management theory and practice, with a focus on their importance for the globalized world of the 21st century, e.g. strategy, economics, finance, operations, organizational behaviour, leadership and sustainability, politics
  • Advanced electives delving deeper into industries and applications e.g. Digital Business Transformation, Negotiation, Data Analytics, Innovation

Additional options include:

Global immersion

  • Spend up to six months of internship time spent at a company or organization operating on a global scale at first job level providing you with invaluable practical experience to seamlessly integrate at your future employer
  • Take an academic term spent at a top-ranked ESMT partner school in Europe or beyond, fully integrated into the course schedule of year 2 of studies to extend your academic, cultural and communicational skills set
  • Participate in foreign language courses in German, French, Spanish and Chinese widening your cultural horizon and preparing you for the international job market

Finance options: PMP and Certificate

  • Join our partners from an international investment fund on a 2-year journey parallel to your studies
  • Learn how to analyse and make investment decisions in a real-life setting
  • Round off your profile by acquiring the "Finance Certificate" taking courses such as "Portfolio Management & Asset Pricing" and "Advanced Investment Strategies"
