Fulfil the course requirements
To obtain the ESMT Finance and Investment Certificate, you will need to complete the following courses in your second year:
- Mandatory courses: International Finance, Portfolio Theory and Asset Pricing, Fixed Income Investments, Introduction to Investment Banking, Alternative Investments, Valuation
- Elective courses (optional): Risk Modelling, Advanced Investment Strategies, Entrepreneurial Finance and FinTech
Depending on the master’s program you are enrolled in, you will need to complete some mandatory finance-related courses that are included in your core curriculum during your first year. In that case, those courses count toward the certificate requirements, in addition to the mandatory courses listed above.
