ESMT women's scholarships
There is a lack of gender equality in global business. ESMT Berlin offers full and partial scholarships for women looking to advance in their career. We strongly encourage applications for the Executive Transition Program and the Bringing Technology to Market (both in English) or the General Management Seminar (in German).
Additional scholarships for the Executive Transition Program (ETP)
Exceptionally qualified and talented candidates (e.g. from startups, social enterprises, public sector or companies headquartered in emerging economies) might be eligible for additional scholarships that will be awarded on a case-by-case basis.

Testimonials
“I feel so lucky to have been granted the Women’s Scholarship to enroll in the Executive Transition Program (ETP) at ESMT in 2018-2019. It was a life-changing event. Mostly because I had the chance to learn directly from worldwide academic professionals who not only have an academic background, but also industry or corporate experience. This is a great combination for the learning experience. The practical experience, in which you learn by doing, in combination with the study of cases and theory, maximizes the value from the learning process. I still see myself learning from all the classmates, and the teachers, reading again all the notes, and using the knowledge gained. This Additionally, the integration of multicultural executives grants the opportunity to develop other skills that would not be possible in a regional school. Networking is enhanced by different means. It is a program, where you engage with the participants and connect with the people as professionals and friends. As an example, I am working with a Chinese mate from ETP to connect with local schools, and have contacted a German based colleague to ask for professional advice on his expertise field. I guarantee you diversity is what enriches the program.
I would like to thank everyone involved in this decision, and I really encourage all the participants to apply for the scholarship program. You will forever embrace ESMT and what you experience, as a life changing event. You have to live it. It has a greater value than the money itself. Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself (by John Dewey).”
Erika Carvajal, Guentner Group, Operations Manager America.
“I can’t emphasise enough the value that the opportunity ESMT afforded me in terms of personal growth, personal awareness and my ability to “step up” within the ranks in my company. By attending the Executive Transition Program (ETP) at ESMT I was able to transition seamlessly into a role requiring me to negotiate at the highest level within my organisation as well as externally with industry bodies. Had it not been for the insights and the awareness gained through ETP I would not have been able to hit the ground running.“
Alex Russell, Sasol, VP Strategy, Policy & Sustainability.
“One of the things that attracted me to the Executive Transition Program (ETP) was the excellent reputation of the program across leading, global blue chip companies, given the success of many who have completed ETP in the past. Beside ESMT’s attractive location within Europe, I liked a lot the school size: not too small to work all the time with the same people, yet not so big that you feel lost in the crowd. Reflecting on the impact of the three subsequent ETP modules including peer coaching and alumni events, I easily can leverage my personal learnings for a general manager role beyond the duration of this program.”
Rosa Meckseper, Continental, VP Strategy & Innovation.
