Financial Times: ESMT Berlin climbs to rank 7 in Europe

Financial Times Ranking 2021
In the Financial Times European Business School Ranking 2021, ESMT Berlin has been ranked seventh in Europe (2020: ninth) and is once again the highest ranked business school in Germany.

“Not quite 20 years ago, German industry recognized that, as most powerful economy in Europe, Germany was in strong need of a leading business school with a global reach. That is how ESMT Berlin came to be. Our sustained Top 10 ranking in Europe proves that we have succeeded in meeting the goals set at our founding,” says Jörg Rocholl, president of ESMT. “As the world in which we do business changes, we will continue to expand our offerings to meet the challenge of continuous transformation.” In line with this, ESMT welcomed in September the first cohort of its first completely online program, the Global Online MBA.

The European Business School Ranking is based on the individual Financial Times rankings of full-time MBA, executive MBA, master’s in management, and executive education programs. Business schools that appear in at least one of the rankings are included in the overall list. ESMT is represented in all categories and remains the first and only German institution ever to make it to the European Top 10.
