Lei Lu
Lei joined ESMT Berlin in 2017. As a Program Director, she designs and implements executive education programs that support leaders and organizations transforming through learning and development. Her pivotal role involves crafting and executing programs focused on leadership, strategy, innovation, and change. She engages with managers ranging from emerging talents to C-suite executives, working across Europe, North America and Asia.
Before joining ESMT Berlin, Lei amassed a diverse range of working experiences in China and Germany – including positions at a news agency, a publishing house, an art gallery and a marketing consultancy. During this time, she developed professional capabilities in corporate communication, marketing strategy, and project management.
Lei holds an MBA in Business Innovation, complementing her academic journey that involved obtaining an M.A. in Media Culture and Communication Management from the University of Bremen (Germany) and studying at Zhejiang University (China). Originally from China, she embarked on a venture to Germany at the age of 16, fostering a unique perspective on cross-cultural dynamics. Leveraging her personal experiences, Lei's research and personal interests revolve around topics such as market entry, global expansion, and intercultural management, with a particular focus on the automotive industry.
