Lei Lu

Lei joined ESMT Berlin in 2017. As a Program Director, she designs and implements executive education programs that support leaders and organizations transforming through learning and development. Over nearly a decade, she has worked closely with C-suite and senior executives across Europe, North America, and Asia, helping them navigate challenges at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and transformation. Her work spans multiple industries, with particular depth in the automotive sector.

Lei is the Program Director of Leading in the Age of AI, ESMT's open enrollment program preparing leaders for AI-driven workplace change.

Having lived across China and Germany from a young age and worked across journalism, marketing and the arts, Lei brings a global outlook and diverse perspectives to the executive education classroom.

Lei's research interests focus on purposeful leadership in the evolving world of work. She holds an MBA in Business Innovation from ESMT Berlin, an M.A. in Media Culture and Communication Management from the University of Bremen, and studied at Zhejiang University in China.
