The index examines what services are available to LGBTIQ+ students and employees as well as graduates at universities in German-speaking countries and which specific measures are taken to promote an LGBTIQ+ friendly and inclusive culture on campus. In this regard, the participating institutions answered 45 questions from the following five categories:
ESMT achieved an overall score of 66.7 percent in the LGBTIQ+ Campus Index. The average overall score in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland was 45.4 percent. In the category βLGBTIQ+ Discrimination Protection,β the international business school is the only institution to attain the highest possible score of 100 percent. ESMT is also above the overall average in the German-speaking countries in the four other categories.
