Seconded employees - employees temporarily assigned to a different role, organization, or department - choose more innovative ideas and influence permanent staff to do the same, finds new research from ESMT Berlin.
ESMT EdTech team members Jon Demiglio, lead media designer, and Claudia Ocera, instructional technologist and learning designer, received gold at the Future of Management Education Alliance (FOME) Learning Design Innovation Awards for the drawbridge learning sequence of the course "Ethics and Responsibility.”
This week, 51 students from 24 countries begin their full-time MBA program at ESMT Berlin (2020: 49
students). On average, the participants are 30,5 years old and have more than six years of professional
experience.
This week, 37 students have started their full-time MBA program at ESMT Berlin (2022: 40). The new class is composed of 54 percent women and 46 percent men.
ESMT Berlin has installed a photovoltaic (PV) system on the roof of its historical main building, covering about 25 percent of its electricity needs in the future. With a total of 893 highly efficient modules on the former GDR State Council building, the PV system achieves a total output of 366 kWp, making it the largest system of its kind in central Berlin. The system is expected to be connected to the electricity grid in January 2024.
