Catalina Stefanescu-Cuntze

Catalina Stefanescu-Cuntze is Professor of Management Science, and the Faculty Lead of the Master of Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. She started her career as Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at London Business School, then joined ESMT Berlin where she previously served as Director of Research and Dean of Faculty. She holds a PhD in Operations Research from Cornell University.
Catalina’s research and advisory work focus on the design, development, and application of analytical and artificial intelligence models and methods for managerial decision-making. Her expertise focus areas include customer analytics, corporate and consumer credit risk, and sustainability modeling.
She teaches MBA, EMBA and MSc courses as well as Executive Education programs on Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Operations Management.
