Prof. Konstantin Korotov joined ESMT European School of Management and Technology in August 2005. He received his tenure in 2011. He is currently a professor of organizational behavior. He has previously held additional positions as the Faculty Lead in the Executive MBA program, the director of the ESMT Center for Leadership Development Research (CLDR), which he co-founded with Prof. Manfred Kets de Vries, and as Associate Dean of Executive Education. Konstantin received his PhD in Management (Organizational Behavior) at INSEAD (France, Singapore, and Abu-Dhabi). In addition to his academic work, he has over 25 years of practical management and leadership development experience in Europe, Asia, Middle East and the Americas.
Konstantin conducts research on leadership development, leadership coaching, careers, and executive education. He has authored, co-authored and co-edited seven books and multiple academic and practitioner articles, business cases, and book chapters on leadership development and executive coaching. He has won several awards for his case-studies, articles, and teaching excellence.
Konstantin is the program director for ESMT’s Leading with Psychological Intelligence executive program. He teaches Organizational Behavior in the ESMT EMBA program and People, Teams, and Organizations in the PTMBA and GOMBA. Konstantin oversees the Individual Leadership Development Itinerary of EMBA students. Konstantin is the founder of the ESMT Coaching Colloquia series – premier professional development events for the world’s leading executive coaches.
His executive education portfolio includes programs for, among others, Siemens, Bosch, Daimler, Allianz, Deutsche Telekom, RWE, EY, Axel Springer, KPMG, McDonald’s, BAT, Lufthansa, Symrise, Hereaus, Brose, Mahle, Compass Group, etc.
Konstantin consults companies worldwide on issues of leadership development, executive coaching, and mentoring. He is also a practicing leadership coach specializing in challenging leadership development cases.
Additionally, Konstantin has held positions as Director of Professional Development for Ernst & Young (CIS), consultant for the Center for Business Skills Development (CBSD), and researcher at New York University.
