Jörg Rocholl has led the steering committee since July 2022, shaping the network during a period marked by geopolitical shifts, rapid technological change, and evolving needs of businesses and graduates. GNAM brings together top institutions from around the world to foster innovation and create value by connecting their expertise, resources, and communities.
Jörg Rocholl states, “I am grateful for the renewed trust placed in me by the other member schools. GNAM thrives on close collaboration among partners. Together we strengthen the international reach of management education, foster exchange among students and faculty, while spearheading forward-looking projects in networked learning and education that draw on the distinctive strengths of our schools located around the globe.”
“No business school, no matter how well-resourced, can cover the entire globe. The Global Network was created to connect leading business schools and to share expertise across continents, extending our collective lines of sight to better prepare students and leaders for global challenges in a more complex world,” adds David Bach, president of IMD Business School and member of the GNAM steering committee. “I am delighted that Jörg Rocholl has agreed to serve a second term as our chair and that the member school deans have re-elected him.”
Launched in 2012 by the Yale School of Management, the Global Network includes 33 leading business schools from diverse regions, countries, cultures, and economies. Member schools connect their students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other constituencies so that they can deepen their understanding of differences and commonalities in their economies and increase their effectiveness.
