Oliver Binz
Biography
Oliver is an Associate Professor of Accounting at ESMT. Prior to his appointment at ESMT, he was a faculty member at INSEAD. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Duke University.
Oliverโs interests lie at the intersection of equity valuation, macroeconomics, and economic history. He has received numerous awards, including the Stiftung Unternehmensfinanzierung Award and the Fulbright Scholarship, and has been named as one of Berlin's 100 most influential researchers by Tagesspiegel, one of Germany's leading newspapers. His research has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Accounting Research, the Journal of Accounting and Economics, and The Accounting Review. He serves on the editorial boards of The Accounting Review and the European Accounting Review.
Oliver teaches Valuation and Financial Accounting courses in ESMT's and Berlin School of Economics' Master's and Ph.D. programs.
