Key focus areas for the Master in Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

Analytics Student Consulting Project

Get experience working with a corporate partner as part of a student consulting team and apply your new skills and insights into a real-world business environment.

Research Track

As an alternative to working in teams with a company on an Analytics Consulting Project, you can also work individually on a research project with an ESMT faculty member. This will involve mostly empirical work, often with large data sets and extensive coding, to answer a practical research question.

Finance Certificate

As part of your elective course choice, you can opt to complete five advanced courses in Finance subjects with a focus on global investment strategies.

You will be issued an ESMT Finance Certificate in addition to your master's degree.

Global Immersion

Practical experiences are central to the program, giving you time to apply new skills in real-world environments and prepare for the job market:

  • Take advantage of internship opportunities in Germany or abroad during the program.
  • Take an academic term abroad (optional) at one of ESMT's top-ranked partners around the world
  • Take language classes in German, French, Spanish or Chinese (optional)  at our partner GLS Sprachenzentrum Berlin (German Language School Berlin).
