When adaptation stops being smart | Paola Carrillo-Bustamante | TEDxESMTBerlin
A provocative take on knowing when to stop adjusting and start deciding. Scientist, writer, and mother of two boys, Paola is the founder of Her Body Out Loud, a platform bridging science and storytelling to close the awareness gap in women’s health.
In her talk, she shares her journey of being both a scientist and a mother and unpack the uncomfortable truth that the system claiming to support working mothers often fails them in the real world. Through building a postpartum companion in femtech, Paola applies systems thinking, science, and lived experience to fundamentally rethink how we care for mothers after birth.
