Viktor Jarotschkin is a research associate at ESMT Berlin. He joined ESMT in October 2018. His primary areas of interest are technology development and deployment, strategic management and innovation-related topics.
Viktor obtained his Master's degree in Public Economics at Freie Universität. Prior this, he received a Bachelor's degree from Humboldt-University. In the course of his studies, Viktor received an Erasmus scholarship to study at Boğaziçi Üniversitesi in Istanbul, Turkey, as well as a scholarship by the German Academic Exchange (DAAD) within the ISAP-Program (International Study and Training Partnership) to study in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Prior to joining ESMT Berlin, Viktor worked at Deutsche Bahn Station&Service developing strategies for the diffusion of technological innovations in the mobility sector.
Viktor's current research interests lie in the digital transformation of manufacturing firms and the role of the sales' function in facilitating the successful development and deployment of innovative solutions.
