Live music and family activities: ESMT Berlin invites guests to summer fest on June 6, 2026

Together with the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Bundesstiftung Bauakademie, Flussbad Berlin, Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, Humboldt Forum, PETRI Berlin, and WBM Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Berlin-Mitte, ESMT Berlin invites guests to the free neighborhood festival “Summer on the Island” on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the garden of the former State Council building at Schlossplatz 1.

Summer fest on Museum island

The summer fest features a diverse program with live music ranging from harp and jazz to blues, funk, and soul; family entertainment including a magic show and children’s disco; as well as performances by students from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler and the Jazz Institute Berlin. The program also includes a raffle prize drawing and guided tours along the archaeological trail organized by PETRI Berlin. Please find the complete program here 

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of food and drinks while connecting with Stefanie Remlinger, borough mayor of Berlin-Mitte, local institutions and representatives from Berlin’s civic and cultural community. Admission is free, and no registration is required.
