Invest in Germany Summit: ESMT Berlin to host German government’s first investor summit

The Invest in Germany Summit is organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on behalf of the German government. Participants include German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Katherina Reiche, Federal Minister of Finance Lars Klingbeil, and Martin Blessing, the Chancellor’s Special Representative for Investment in Germany.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will subsequently also attend the fourth Berlin Global Dialogue at ESMT. Under the theme “Advancing Alliances for the New Era,” the summit is set to bring together international heads of state and government, ministers, and leaders from business and academia from the evening of October 20 through October 22. Discussions are expected to focus on how alliances between business and politics can be strengthened in an increasingly fragmented world.  

Both events will take place at ESMT, located in the former State Council building of the German Democratic Republic in the heart of Berlin, directly across from Museum Island.
