ESMT Berlin welcomes Nazlı Sönmez to faculty
As of August 1, 2022, Nazlı Sönmez has joined the faculty of ESMT Berlin as an assistant professor of management science.
Nazlı Sönmez’s research uses data and models to better understand operational innovations that can solve problems in healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. Before joining ESMT, Sönmez earned her PhD in management science and operations from London Business School in 2021 and worked as an assistant professor of operations management in the faculty of business administration at Bilkent University in Turkey. Her teaching focuses on methods of causal inference, statistical research methods, machine learning, applications in operations management, business forecasting, and business analytics.
