The long-time supporter of ESMT, Andreas Dombret has been a member of the international business school’s supervisory board since 2015. He serves as global senior advisor to management consultancy Oliver Wyman and to numerous other financial institutions. Between 2010 and 2018, he was board member of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Supervisory Board Member of the European Central Bank and of the Bank for International Settlements. 

ESMT’s room Garden View will now be named the Andreas Dombret Room, in recognition of Andreas Dombret’s philanthropy and engagement on behalf of ESMT. Jörg Rocholl, ESMT president, said, “We thank Andreas Dombret very much for his generous support of ESMT. The Andreas Dombret Room is a versatile and much used seminar room at ESMT. The new naming will serve as an inspiration to students and executives from around the world.”
