How to support us

Graduation advancement

Making a gift

Charitable giving of any kind is not just about making a donation, it's about making a demonstrable difference. We are committed to working with you to understand which areas of our work resonate most with your philanthropic ambitions.

More information

Tax deductions

Charitable donations in Germany are tax-deductible under German law and we will issue a tax-deductible receipt for your gift.

If you are not located in Germany, your donation may still be tax-deductible. We recommend you check with a local tax professional for further details.

Please note that tax-deductible status only applies for charitable donations. Sponsorships and commercial partnerships are ineligible for tax deductions.

Due diligence

It is our obligation and duty to ensure that ESMT acts responsibly in accepting donations, or entering into partnerships with benefactors. ESMT will follow clear processes to ensure that the school's acceptance of gifts is legally and reputationally robust, and that all contributions comply with all applicable tax laws. Read our donation acceptance policy here.

Data protection

Compliance with data protection is a high priority at ESMT. For more detailed information regarding data protection and data security for online donations, read our GDPR policy here.

Online giving

You may donate directly and safely online via PayPal.

In order to claim a donation of up to EUR 300 for tax purposes, a “simplified donation receipt” will be provided in accordance with Section 50 (2) No. EStDV. You will find the simplified donation receipt, which contains all the required tax information here.
