You do not need to arrive at ESMT with a startup or a fully formed business idea. Opportunities range from developing an initial idea to testing and building a venture, with different ways for students to participate depending on their degree program and experience.
Develop your idea
The Ideation Bootcamp gives students in the Master in innovation and Entrepreneurship (MIE) and exchange students from the Global Economic Transformation & Technology (GETT) programs a practical introduction to venture building.
Participants work with other students and research talent to explore technologies, challenges, and market opportunities, form teams, and develop an initial venture proposition.
DEEP contributes technologies, opportunity areas, and expertise from across its activities, giving students different starting points for developing ideas.
Build and test your venture
Incubation I and Incubation II give students from across ESMT's degree programs opportunities to develop promising ideas and gain more intensive venture-building experience.
Participating teams conduct customer discovery, test assumptions, validate their problem and solution, and develop their product and market approach. As ventures progress, teams work with mentors and DEEP experts to strengthen their proposition and build evidence for their next steps.
