Tatiana Lluent joined ESMT Berlin as Assistant Professor of strategy and Volkswagen Group Junior Chair for Diversity in Organizations in 2021. Before joining ESMT Berlin, Tatiana earned her PhD in Business Administration at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration both at ESSEC Business School.
Her main research interest lies in understanding the sources of persistent forms of gender inequality in the economy. She studies the social and organizational processes that produce and perpetuate gender inequality in outcomes such as career advancement, wages, and participation in entrepreneurship. She is interested in understanding how gender norms and stereotypes emerge and evolve at the cultural, organizational, and individual levels and how these affect access to economic resources and opportunities.
