ESMT Open Lecture with Gianluca Carnabuci
Firms struggle with innovation from within the organization. How should leaders best foster new ideas and innovative performance? At this Open Lecture, ESMT Professor Gianluca Carnabuci will present the findings of a field study on innovative performance. The study finds compelling evidence that building interpersonal, trust-based relationships across departments, or so-called silos, helps people perform better. It also shows that executive education, including short programs, can compel people to expand their internal networks, thus improving performance.
